The same year, private owners began to build individual chalets. The architect Michel Besançon is once again choosen to carry out the contruction of new residences in Les Coches.

Les Coches is a typic resort of fourth generation. Indeed, it has a village aspect thanks to its buildings imitating chalets with stone, wood and roofs of lauzes. Walking around is made more convenient and pleasant thanks to the split between vehicles and pedestrians traffic.
Since 2003, Les Coches hosts the Vanoise Express cable car which links La Plagne resort and the Paradiski ski domain for creating the largest and most spectacular ski area.
