For non-skiers who nevertheless want to enjoy thr open air the Ecole du Ski Français (ESF) in Montchavin-Les Coches organize ouitings on snowshoes.

They will take you exploring the snowy wilderness and tracking wildlife. Every week, there is a busy schedule of accompanied outings you can enjoy with family or friends of all ages, however athletic you may feel.

A different spirit, exploring the mountains on snowshoes, passing through Alpine forests and snow fields on the sunny side of the valley. Visit isolated hamlets and learn to identify the tracks in the snow left by wilds animals on the edge of the Vanoise national park.

Eache week, they offer a wide range of snowshoe outings for all levels, to discover a hidden secrets of this beautiful valley of the Tarentaise.The walks are set in picturesque countryside with lots to see : typical moutain hamlets, fairy tale forests, animal tracks and the famous National Parc of la Vanoise (fauna).
